Lot of work to assemble
November 19, 2018
Product seems solid but assembly took a long time and for both bench pads the screw holes were not aligned with bench - was unable to install some of screws, had to really pull on bench to get others in. Excluding assembly headaches / misaligned holes is looks like okay quality

Very Solid Bench
June 18, 2015
This bench is great! I'm very glad I bought it, and am impressed with the quality for the price. The assembly took about 2 hours. I've knocked a star off for the cons I've put down. They both could easily be remedied if the manufacturer wanted to improve the product. It is an overall awesome product though, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a heavy duty bench with incline, decline, and a way to work the legs out.
Pros
  • Very heavy duty. Lifetime warranty. Easy to adjust. Easy to move around once assembled. Incline, flat, and decline positions. Can workout your legs.
Cons
  • As the first reviewer stated, it does come with some dings and dents. They have two options for user height when assembling, once its fully assembled it's permanent. You cannot change these around for shorter or taller people at your leisure unless you want to break some parts in the process.

FID46 Bench
September 19, 2014
No disappointments with design or build. Probably the best out there in this price range. It's a shame that they are packaged so poorly and come to you with many minor blemishes. I knew about this from previous reviews but my priority was the design and build. I believe I made the right decision. Awsome bench! Assembly is somewhat involved but indicative of the solid build. Just take your time and have fun with it. My package was missing one bushing which will stop assembly early in it's tracks. Called CS and they shipped one out fairly quickly, but I did not want to wait. I went to hardware store and found a substiute (needed modification) and got started. Have used the bench for a few weeks and it works great. At the end of the day, I am very pleased with this purchase.
Pros
  • Well thought out design.
  • Robust frame and brackets with good welds and heavy hardware.
  • Good quality seat and backrest.
  • Easy, quick, and secure adjustments.
Cons
  • Primative packaging with such heavy parts results in several "cosmetic" blemishes and possible missing parts.
  • Reason for lost star.
