Troy Lightweight Barbell System

I use this lightweight barbell system for a women's Powerflex class ... the bar is lightweight and hollow, I can lift it with one hand. The weights are some sort of plastic vinyl covered weights and perfect for our Powerflex group class. We load two 2 1/2 pounders and two 5 pounders for our approx 5 min warmup routine. For squats, I usually use two 10 pounders, but I've seen other girls load up 17 1/2 pounds on each end of the bar. I love this set, and I'm thinking it would make a great Christmas present to go with my Cathe' STS home workout system. I don't STEP with these, as I hurt my knee with my husband's heavier bars, but I intend to try stepping with this set, either at the gym or if I do get one of these as a gift ...
Pros:
Love the lightweight hollow bar for my Powerflex class, it weighs nearly nothing. Just add the weights to each end and you're ready to keep up with the class, which goes at a fast pace.
Cons:
I wish the weights came in pretty colors!!!
