VTX Rubber Olympic Weight Plate Set - 455lbs

I have had four 45lb plates and two 25 pound plates for about 15 years. These are great plates. My only complaint with this set is I wish it didn’t come with 35lb plates. In over 35 years of lifting weights I have never used 35lb plates. They don’t offer sets w/o 35lb plates

These plates arrived quickly and look great. I like the design, as they are very easy to handle and pick up, even if they are placed flat on the floor. With the rubber coating, they make no clanging noises and are never slippery to hang onto. They fit my barbells and plate storage pins well. This is a really good assortment of plates too. The only drawback to them would be that they have a strong rubber smell, even after washing them off. I've read it will fade with time, but if you do not have them in a well ventilated area, this may be something to consider. The shipping process was fast and easy to deal with and the price on these was really good, so I would recommend them (and ordering here).

These are very sturdy, heavy duty, first rate weights! Love the rubber coating; makes it so nice without the clanging.

Showed up intact, seem to be very nice quality, except 45 plates were not rubber coated as advertised. Not a big deal to me just kinda par for the coarse as far as quality control for everything now. Made in china, cant expect much more.

From afar, they look great, but I do have some concerns over the consistency of the quality and workmanship of the plates. Two of the plates appear split near where the two halves of the rubber coating on two of the 45's come together. I did send pictures into customer service to seek guidance and ask for a replacement. It's hard to tell whether this will get worse over time and lead to the inability of use but my guess is that it will. I just hope the long term quality isn't impacted but only time will tell. I've only had the weights for a week.

Even in these wild times fitness giant got me my plates delivered within 3 weeks when every other company I ordered other things from couldn’t. Not to mention the weights were packaged very well and made well for the price. Definitely will return as a customer
