Only had it for a couple of days but I'm finding so many variations of excercises you can do on this thing. Main thing for us was to get something everyone could work out on safely. The unique design of this machine allows even my 12 yr old son to lift without us worrying about him dropping a bar on his chest for both squats and benching. This reason alone made it a no brainier. Compare its price to an expensive Smith machine that would have taken up twice as much space and it was an easy decision. The instructions could use some updated pictures to show the pulley cable routing a little better (Tip: when routing the bottom cable pulley, the cable goes in front of the metal piece inside the tubing). They did a great job by taking the nuts, bolts, and washers in to pre arranged groups that align with their own Step in the building manual. It made assembly so much easier. It was the only machine that I found that offered so many key workouts for the price and small design.
Pros
Easy to assemble (Allthough the diagrams could have been a bit bigger. not sure why company's don't just make YouTube videos to to walk you through assembly)
SAFETY : This was the biggest selling point for my wife and I. At no point in a workout are you gonna get trapped under weights so you can safely workout to max all by yourself.
Diversity: There are SO many workouts you can do with this thing. It truly is a total gym
Weights: One of the few designs we found that uses Olympic style plates so you can easily add more poundage to your routine and go as big or as small as you like.
Customer Service: I had an issue with receiving an incorrect part and John from Fitness Giant was great to work with. Actually got to speak with a real person who had the part in the mail the very next day.
Cons
Squat bar is very difficult to get in to place. The tight fit makes it difficult to get the safety latch in place but this may get better as we use it more. We used a sharpie to outline the correct position of the outside diameter of the bar on the right side with the safety latch. This allows us to make sure the safety latch can be fully depressed
Instructional diagrams could be more expanded but all in all we got it together no problem
