I've had a matching set of these when I first purchased my weight machine and wanted another set to have more weight and less swapping out. The original set I had for around 8 years, still look like new. The new set is identical in size and form and from what I can tell, quality is identical as well. Absolutely love them!
Pros
  • Quiet when in use. Easy to handle.
Cons
  • The "new" rubber smell takes a while to work it's way out of the rubber coating. When you receive them, give the weights a wash with some warm soapy water as there is some oily substance on the surface. I recall the old set had the same stuff on it. Probably an applied protective coating of sorts. Not a huge deal.

Had a set of these for years and just purchased more so I can do heavier lifts. Very pleased with the quality of Troy products.
