Valor Fitness BD-9 Power Squat Stands
The BD-9 was built with the serious weight lifter in mind. We added both safety bar catches as well as adjustable bar supports. Some users may want to use the racks for bench press.

Adjust the bar supports to your desired level and then adjust the safety bar catches in case you need safety support. At the bottom you will find plate storage pegs. These play a dual roll in the stands. One is for plate storage but the more important role is to ground the unit with added weight during squat or military functions.

We also added more height to the unit. Max height will reach 6 5. That means a user in the 7 height range will be able to use the units. See the foot print measurements showing the adjustable features and sizes. The weight bar is so high you can even to pull ups from the bar by tucking your legs underneath you. Recommended max weight is 600lbs.

BD9 Power Squat Stands - Love it!
    March 15, 2014
The squat stand arrived in a very timely manner, and had all the pieces included. I found it very easy to put together, just by viewing the picture included in the manual. The only difficulty I had was that both metal stands had some burs on the ends of them, and not having a file, I needed to bang them with a hammer to fit...not a big deal. Other than that, the pieces went together quickly. This squat stand is a real space saver if you don't have the ceiling height or floor space for a cage. On a side note, I do use the top rack (in the highest position) to do chin-ups and pull ups. Please note that I am a female, so I do not have a lot of weight hanging from the top bar rack and cannot determine if this rack is sturdy enough for a male to hang from it. That being said, I am very pleased and happy with this purchase.

I love my BD-09 Power squat stands. They are very sturdy with a max weight of 600Lbs!! Because the BD-9 is not a fixed squat rack, you can adjust how far apart you want to position the BD-9 squat stands. This makes it possible to use either a 6 foot bar or a 7 foot bar. The best thing about the BD-9 is the safety catches. I can take my squat sets to failure with the confidence of knowing I can rack the weight on the safety catches. I also use the safety catches for doing dips, another added plus. If you adjust the height of the BD-9 high, you can do pull ups by placing a bar on the stands. Assembly was easy. I give this product 2 thumbs up.
ProsSturdy. The presence of safety catches.
