Valor Fitness BD-2 Bench Press Stands
We're sorry but this item is temporarily unavailable
The BD-2 Independent Bench Press stands are designed specifically for the Bench Press function, using either a flat or incline bench. (Units are not high enough to be used for squat function). Adjustable Safety Bars offer 11 options for adjusting height to the users chest level (to catch bar should user not be able to return bar to top.) Minimum height is 20" with increments of 1" to a max adjusted height of 30". Adjustable bar catch surface measures 10" x 1.75".

2 Plate Storage Pegs are located on the back each side, offering a 7" long peg for either standard or Olympic plates. The plate storage pegs also offer a second bonus feature of adding stability and a more solid foundation when using a heavier weight load.

Adjustable Uprights provide a wide range of height adjustments for the user, from a min height of 33.75" from floor to a max height of 49.5". Each upright includes the bar latch feature, which secures the bar to the upright while changing out the plates. In the event of uneven weight on the bar, the bar latch feature prevents the bar from raising off the rack. Just remember to unlatch the bar prior to beginning bench press routine.

BD-2 Independent Bench Press Stands may also be used for Power Lift.

  • Maximum weight load 500lbs
  • Individual Stand Dimensions: 14.75" wide (front) x 22.5" wide (rear) x 28" deep x 49.5 high (max height adjustment with upright).

Great substitute for dedicated bench press bench if you don't have the room.

Well constructed and engineered. I wish the bar rests were a little heavier steel but they are entirely adequate. I use these stands with my "free" bench for bench presses. I ALSO use the safety rests as a curling bar/triceps bar rest for doing curls and for doing nose-breakers. They can be easily moved out of the way and stacked so that they don't take up too much room. Overall, a great idea and multi-functional both for bench presses and curling bar use.
